Gavin Irwin’s Bribery Act 2010 expertise was recently sought by Ian Cowie, award winning journalist at The Telegraph.  In an article on Monday 6th June 2011, the newspaper explored the potential effect of the new legislation on corporate hospitality. Quoted alongside fellow expert lawyers from Hogan Lovell and Mischon de Reya, Gavin said "the emphasis is on self-reporting anything which is outside the bounds of normal business or might raise an eyebrow".
